Pact rules
The rules of every QuitPact program, in plain language. The terms of service are the full agreement; these are the parts you will actually live with.
- Day 1 is your quit date. Checks can start from day 8, at random, until the last day.
- Each check: a text between 8 and 10 am your time, due by noon the next day. One SMS reminder, one backup email.
- One live photo of the test. QuitPact reads it. Unreadable or invalid tests never count against you; you get a new check.
- A positive result or a missed check is a failure notice. You have 48 hours to appeal. One appeal is granted per program for a medical emergency or a disputed result; a disputed result gets a retest.
- If a failure stands, the amount you chose is charged and the pact ends.
- Cancel for a full refund any time before your quit date. After it, withdrawing counts as a failure.
- Nicotine-free means none: no vape, no cigarettes, no pouches, no nicotine gum or patches, no lower-strength "tapering" and no "just one". Nicotine shows up on a check either way.
